There are plenty of places to go around Seattle so here we go...

The end of the year SECRET trip...

Off to the Westin Hotel we headed for a tour with Kathryn Walczak and the crew.  The front of the house, the back of the house; all operations of the hotel were unveiled.  
Dinner with Chef Nick Musser of Icon Grill brought forth a mix of Blazin' Beef and stick to your ribs Mac and Cheese.  The Grand Finale was Hot Fudge Sundaes all around. 
After dinner there was swimming, laughter and lights out. 
The next day we met Chef Caprial Pence at the Alexis Hotel for breakfast and a tour of a boutique hotel.  She packed up sandwiches to go and we were on the ferry to Bainbridge. 
On the Island we visited Heyday Farms, toured their beautiful facilities and tasted their housemade cheese and freshly picked vegetables. 
Back at Shorewood just in time, we reflected on a day of bountiful food, a temporarily missing chaperone and great weather. 

Ranch 99 for an international scavenger hunt and Pho Than Brothers for a lesson in a Vietnamese classic.
