​Lasting an entire academic year, Culinary Arts is a hands on course designed to introduce students to the restaurant/hospitality industry. Through a variety of teaching methods and experiences, students learn the art of food preparation and service.  Lessons include:
  - how to write and execute a menu
- 
product purchasing
 - recipe development
- principles of costing
- elements that make a restaurant or catering operation successful
 -operation of a catering business for both small and large functions
