Shorewood Culinary Arts is a two-year program for high school juniors and seniors.  The program provides an introduction to the food industry through hands on experience and exposure to local culinary points of interest, both in the classroom and in the community.

Students host Guest Chef Dinners featuring local chefs who volunteer their time to help the class plan and prepare a meal for up to 85 guests.  Students also run a catering service through our kitchen that can include anything from a small lunch for four to a plated three-course meal for 300.

Proceeds from all dinners and caterings go towards food and equipment along with various educational field trips in the culinary world.

The Culinary Arts program is dedicated to creating opportunities that allow students to focus on teamwork, leadership, initiative, and responsibility. A high value is placed upon remaining committed to one another and the overall program while exceeding the expectations of guests and clients.

Thank you for supporting our students!
